Bennetts British Superbike season preview with James Whitham

Including those all important Showdown predictions
BikeSocial and James Whitham look ahead to what's set to be another memorable year...

Ahead of what is almost guaranteed to be a stonking new British Superbike season, we welcomed the ex-BSB and World Superbike rider turned commentator, Jamie Whitham, into the BikeSocial studio for a chat about the 2018 season.

Alongside Whit also offering his insight is BikeSocial’s own Social Media Guru, Chris Newble, a self-confessed BSB superfan who was present at every round last year and he’s also the man who’ll be filling your social media timelines direct from pit lane this season.

We start with a recap of the incredible 2017 season with its 10 winners and after 26 races a top three covered by just six points as it all boiled down to the final race of the year at Brands Hatch. But who overachieved and who underperformed?

Moving on to the 2018 season and we talk through the ‘Movers & Shakeys’ - who has moved teams, who are the newbies and who are returnees?

We bring you a testing update following most of the teams’ recent outings in Spain. Who has impressed the most?

Whit and Newbs then put their money where their mouths are by giving us their Top 6 predictions for the Showdown but do you agree? Who are the dark horses and who should we be placing our 50p on for the 2018 title.

Not forgetting the support classes, we talk through the ones to watch in Superstock 1000 and SuperSport as well as looking at the new classes including GP2 and the British Talent Cup.

Grab a cuppa, sit back and enjoy half an hour of BSB insight.
